Valentino Taps Vanessa Beecroft for Its New Campaign
The longtime Yeezy collaborator teams up with the famed Italian label.
Vanessa Beecroft may have long been associated with Kanye West, but the performance artist recently staged something outside of her usual Yeezy contributions: a showcase for iconic Italian label Valentino. Staged last month at the New York Academy of Art and finally available for viewing via YouTube, the campaign echoes the regimented, militarized simplicity of the Yeezy shows, in this case highlighting rain jackets, turtlenecks, trousers, footwear and clutches as models stand in formation while rocking some of the most chic uniforms out there.
