RONE Footwear Introduces Two New Nods to the '80s & '90s
Two more handcrafted nods to the skate culture of decades past.

Former professional skateboarder Tony Ferguson — who previously helmed ALIFE’s footwear division — has carved out a nice niche for himself with his budding RONE Footwer imprint. Seamlessly translating the skate culture of years past into premium handcrafted silhouettes, RONE launched last summer with the Eighty Six before going on to introduce the Ninety Three shortly thereafter. Now Ferguson is back with his latest silhouette: the Ninety. A take on the high-top basketball kicks of the ’90s, the aptly named design comes decked out in vegetable-tanned black leather, pairing hand-sewn construction with a natural cork midsole, a calfskin interior and a Goodyear welt along with a custom Vibram sole unit. Finally, finishing touches include waxed cotton laces complete with custom tips.
Debuting in black, the Ninety can be found online now for $600 USD alongside a brand new navy iteration of the Eighty Six.
