A Day With Godfrey Gao in Taiwan #INFINITIQ30
Tips for your next vacation.
Born in Taipei but raised in North Vancouver, Godfrey Gao has had the privilege of being exposed to different cultures and managed to translate them into his style, as well as his personality. An interest in hip-hop, coupled with his father’s aesthetic inclinations, developed Gao’s sense of style and he’s never looked back since.
Now, the actor has moved on to working on his latest project with his friends in the form of a fashion label dubbed, Flagship Lifestyle, and aside from his stints as a model and DJ, he also finds time to enjoy his other passions in life, such as basketball. When he’s not working, Gao enjoys his hobbies that include riding a motorcycle to see the country’s breathtaking mountain roads and scenic routes. We took the opportunity to follow Gao around Taiwan, courtesy of Infiniti‘s new Q30 hatchback model, where the distinctive dimensions of the vehicle incorporate turbulent character lines and sculptural shapes that stretch over the bone and muscle of the car, giving the effect of harmonious design.
Among his recommendations for Taipei are a multitude of food spots: “For a good Japanese izakaya, I would head to Muteki Taipei for great Japanese BBQ that goes along with their very own sake. Muteki also has a shabu shabu hot pot place that just opened recently and their sliced pork is delicious. For some messy seafood meals, I would recommend Shrimp Daddy Taipei for your Taiwanese boiling crab fix.”
