'Fast & Furious 8' Unveils Behind-the-Scenes Video From Cuba
Making history as the first major Hollywood movie to be filmed in Cuba.
After Vin Diesel announced release dates of the forthcoming Fast & Furious trilogy, the franchise has released an on-set video featuring the cast and crew getting loose on the streets of Havana, Cuba. Fast 8 is the first major Hollywood movie to be filmed in the Caribbean island, which was recently opened to U.S tourists earlier this year. In the video, we see Director F. Gary Gray (Straight Outta Compton, The Italian Job, Friday) and longtime veterans of the series, Michelle Rodriguez and Vin Diesel dancing with locals and drag racing in vintage cars. The film is set to release in theaters on April 14, 2017 with an all-star cast including Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Eva Mendes, Jason Statham, Charlize Theron and more.
