Listen to a Preview of M.I.A.'s New Track "Rewear It"
M.I.A. writes a new song to celebrate ‘World Recycle Week’ as part of H&M’s new campaign.
Global retailer H&M has been working with M.I.A. on an environmentally-conscious project that evolves around World Recycle Week. A preview of the song she wrote for the campaign is now online which finds M.I.A. dancing on stacks of recycled textiles, with b-roll shots highlighting models around the globe who join in on the celebration. “World Recycle Week is about embracing important environmental issues such as the landfills, and highlighting a global movement,” said M.I.A. in a press release from H&M. The World Recycle Week campaign runs April 18-24, while the full “Rewear It” video drops on April 11.
