Notable fashion designer Issey Miyake‘s latest seasonal collection for his HOMME PLISSÉ line is the embodiment of youthful designs that does not shy away from bold colors, prints and silhouettes. Imbued with warm, earthy tones of rich browns and bright greens, the designer’s 2016 fall/winter range plays with proportions among light jackets, pinstripe suits, vests and trousers. And what Miyake collection would be complete without his signature pleats? The finely-scrunched, origami-esque fabric pervades through each design that serve as a nod to the fashion mastermind’s Japanese heritage. Photographer Grégoire Alexandre presents the collection in a kooky yet clean lookbook supplemented with avant-garde furniture props and potted plants that pits you into the imaginative world that is Issey Miyake’s mind.
