The Gumpert Apollo Arrow Is Extreme in Both Appearances and Performance
Inspired by the F-22 Raptor.
While Gumpert may not be a household name in the automotive market just yet, its latest hypercar — the Apollo Arrow — definitely makes a strong case for the brand. The vehicle’s striking, predatory silhouette is inspired by the F-22 Raptor jet, while the Audi 4.0L twin-turbo V8 engine propels the lightweight vehicle from 0 to 60 in under 3 seconds with the force of 1000 horses.
A prototype of the vehicle is currently on display at the Geneva Autoshow. Its release is slated for 2017, with a Fast & Furious cameo sure to follow.
