The World of Niché Is the Speakeasy of Sneaker Boutiques
Strictly by-appointment-only.

World of Niché wants to change up sneaker culture — and the just-opened store in New York City is already differentiating itself by way of its exclusive by-appointment-only, “one at a time” shopper policy. Upon entry, windows are obscured out, outside shoes must be removed in lieu of leather slippers, and a giant suspended brass ball opens up to showcase the store’s lineup. Said offerings are limited to its own footwear line, available in only a runner ($300 USD), a high top ($400 USD), and a hiking boot ($450 USD), each of which come in three different colors — not to mention, served on a platter once your selection is made. Located on 66 Bleecker Street, appointments can now be made here. Check it out for yourself or get an insider’s experience on GQ.
