That’s what this trailer remix attempts to convince you of, as Vulture has cleverly mixed footage of our favorite prime-time animated sitcom The Simpsons with the most talked about crime documentary of recent, Making a Murderer. While the tone of government cover-up and slapstick/animated comedy don’t mix in theory, the trailer’s editing and production syncs them up almost perfectly. Guest appearances play the key characters in the Avery case extremely well, with Chief Wiggum, Monty Burns and even Professor Frink as the DNA Forensic Investigator.
