The RT x NikeLab Air Zoom Legend Is Set to Turn Heads Sooner Than You Thought
Not your average Chelsea.
After its initial preview, official imagery of the upcoming RT x NikeLab Air Zoom Legend has finally surfaced. The upcoming collaborative release rests atop of Nike’s Aqua Boot sole, which debuted in 1990. It gains its inspiration from the aesthetic of your traditional Chelsea Boot while also being influenced by the connection of ocean and land in Rio de Janeiro.
Upon its release, two colorways of the silhouette will launch as its all-black edition receives a basketball-inspired black mesh upper, heel and translucent outsole. Its partner also hosts a black-dominated upper with a floral pattern on its heel as a nod to Rio’s lively beach culture. Both iterations are finished off with leather lining, foot beds, and a heel clip with a complementary star, RT Logo and Swoosh branding.
The RT x NikeLab Air Zoom Legend will release on December 8 online and at NikeLab retailers.
