'Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite' Officially Set to Release in 2017

Capcom and Marvel have come together to reveal that Marvel vs. Capcom 4 is officially happening. The game’s first trailer, which was revealed at PlayStation Experience today, features Mega Man X and Ryu vs. Iron Man and Captain Marvel. Captain America is also expected to return, alongside a roster of other fan favorites from both universes. The first gameplay footage will be shown at this weekend’s Capcom Cup tournament. The 2v2 partner battles in the upcoming iteration will replace the 3v3 version previously seen in the series, along with a “visually stunning and immersive cinematic Story Mode,” according to the PS blog. Watch the initial trailer above and look out for Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite releasing on the PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One sometime in late 2017.
