adidas Drops the UltraBOOST 3.0 "Chinese New Year" Colorway out of Nowhere

Surprise from adidas. This morning the Three Stripes dropped a special edition Chinese New Year colorway of the famed adidas UltraBOOST 3.0 without prior notice. The special edition shoe features a full multicolor Primeknit upper in a marled red, heather black accents along the ankle and toe box, a black cage overlay and heel counter, multicolor laces and a full BOOST midsole with a black Continental rubber outsole. A special “CNY” logo patch appears on the tongue to celebrate the Lunar New Year. Released by surprise this morning on adidas.com, the UltraBOOST 3.0 Chinese New Year retailed for $180 USD.
