adidas Unveils the Samba ADV in Burgundy

Following the announcement of the Samba ADV, adidas is unveiling the Samba ADV in a burgundy colorway, a new hue for the iconic 1950s Samba indoor soccer shoe. Constructed with the skateboarder’s needs in mind, the Samba ADV burgundy sees a suede and leather upper in a rich maroon, coupled with the iconic Three Stripes in white leather along the sides, a molded heel clip and sockliner for increased support and cushioning, a responsive internal mesh bootie and maroon laces. All of this is set atop a classic white cupsole with herringbone directional tread. Accompanying the release is a short video that illustrates the timeline of the evolution of the iconic Samba from origin to present day. Narrated by adidas Skateboarding’s senior footwear designer Scott Johnston, the film also details the shoe’s enhanced performance features and design process. The adidas Samba ADV Burgundy will be priced at $75 USD and be available at select adidas retailers in the U.S. and at the adidas Skateboarding website on January 1.
