Sneaker Freaker & Diadora Unveil Their V.7000 "Taipan"
An homage to the deadly Australian serpent.

Fresh off of yesterday’s teaser, Sneaker Freaker and Diadora have officially unveiled their collaborative “Taipan” edition of the V.7000. Marking the first time SF and Diadora have joined forces, the “Taipan” takes cues from the indigenous Australian serpent of the same name — one considered to be the deadliest land snake in the world thanks to its lethal and paralyzing neurotoxic venom. The resulting sneaker couples sandy suedes with outback olive nubuck, 3M accents and “venomous violet highlights.” Debossed faux snakeskin paneling even graces the upper while a gradient fade decorates the midsole. Last but not least, a special project logo slithers across the refreshed tongue design while pink fangs hit the outsole.
Complete with custom packaging, the V.7000 “Taipan” will launch at European Foot Locker locations on November 23 before making its way to Sneaker Freaker’s own web store — along with exclusive luminescent LaceSpace laces — at a later date.
