Pink Dolphin and Brooks Come Together for a Japanese Art-Inspired Collab
Faded and wavy in more ways than one.
Running sneaker brand Brooks Heritage has teamed up with Pink Dolphin for a collaborative project inspired by the iconic Japanese wave painting by Katsushika Hokusai. The project involves the throwback silhouette of the Brooks Heritage Regent and a classic windbreaker jacket. The color palette is made up of Pink Dolphin’s trademark ’90s washed-out aquas, blues, pinks and creams. The Brooks Regent sneaker has an upper made of leather, suede and raw canvas, and features an embroidered wave pattern on the heel. The same wave motif is featured as a larger print on the lining of the mesh windbreaker, which has a nylon exterior of pearl and faded coral and blue. The sneakers and windbreaker, retailing for $129 USD and $90 USD respectively, will be available at the Pink Dolphin web store on Cyber Monday.
