Natalie Westling Designs a Limited-Edition Vans Sk8-Hi for Opening Ceremony
The American model puts her own spin on the classic high-top.
American model Natalie Westling is the latest to get her hands on the Vans Sk8-Hi, putting her own spin on the high-top classic for an exclusive release alongside Opening Ceremony. Hot on the heels of Opening Ceremony’s collaborative endeavors with Timberland and Alpha Industries, the Vans team-up takes cues from Westling’s own style and opts for tan nubuck construction along with contrasting blue branding. The upper’s tan hue also extends to the gum rubber outsole while Vans’s tried-and-true checkerboard motif lines with kicks in blue and white. Finally, custom footbeds come emblazoned with a graphic representation of Westling’s own tattoos.
The specially-crafted Sk8-His are available now at Opening Ceremony locations and online for $100 USD.
