Netflix Unveils Neil Patrick Harris's Villainous Character in 'A Series of Unfortunate Events' Teaser

Netflix just revealed the first teaser for Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events. Most importantly, the one-minute clip gives viewers more than a glimpse of Neil Patrick Harris’s wicked character, Count Olaf. The new show is an homage to the cult classic novel of the same name, following three young kids living with their sinister uncle after they’ve lost their parents.

Will the series live up to Brad Silberling’s 2004 movie starring Jim Carrey? Watch the first footage above and look out for the show to drop this January 13 on Netflix.
