A few weeks ago XLARGE® debuted a collaboration with Japanese designer and illustrator Hajime Sorayama, where the brand’s “OG Gorilla” mascot was transformed into one of the artist’s iconic robots. In an exclusive interview, Sorayama  sat with us to speak about his upcoming collaboration and what art means to him; “being creative or artistic means to make people surprised, with something that doesn’t exist
. I daydream, fictionalize and make things flourish more than it really does” Check out what else the artist had to say and his studio space where his work comes to life in the video above. To grab a piece from the collection which features a range of essentials like tees, hoodies, crewneck sweaters and coach jackets, check out the online shops here and here as well as X-LARGE® stores in Japan after November 18.
