Seoul-based tech startup ‘this is engineering’ is based on the motto “ENGINEERING X DESIGN,” and is bringing that concept into reality with its latest major creation. With the stated intentions of introducing a “new era,” the company has revealed plans for an innovative new drone and controller. Known simply as “Shift,” the product is being billed as the world’s first-ever “user-centric drone.” Owners of the item and its controller will be able to fly their drone just by using their thumb and a ring-sensor, a method the product’s creators call the “One Hand Control” system. this is engineering has created a promotional video to explain the “Shift” experience, which you can check out above.
