Let’s face it: the best thing about LEGO is building the actual project, but some of us just don’t have the time to sit and build out these massive structures, let alone do it right. In comes Bart van Dijk, whose latest feat is that of a 4,016-piece replication of the Star Wars Death Star, fully equipped with laser turrets, operators, vehicles and even a primary weapon. The finished product, through the magic of stop motion video, is given new life, as fun scenes from the film are reenacted along with sliding doors, rotating cannons and much more.
