TAG Heuer Reveals the All-Black Carrera Heuer-02T Tourbillon
The limited edition “Black Phantom.”

Baselworld 2016 is right around the corner, so you can expect a ton of new timepieces to pop up between now and its March 17 kickoff. The latest? An all-black Carrera from TAG Heuer. Arguably the Swiss manufacturer’s most high-profile piece since the release of its Android Wear-powered Connected smartwatch, the new Carrera — aptly dubbed the “Black Phantom” — boasts a skeletonized dial to go with its all-black aesthetic and pairs titanium construction with a tourbillon cage at the 6 o’clock position and hour and minutes chronograph registers at the 9 o’clock and 3 o’clock positions, respectively. Additional features include both perforated black rubber and matching alligator straps, as well as water resistance up to 100 meters.
Powered by a 4Hz COSC-certified movement and inspired by the defunct CH-80, the TAG Heuer Carrera Heuer-02T “Black Phantom” will soon be available for $19,900 USD.
