The Swoosh Meets Royalty in Nike Basketball's All-Star Collection
An ode to the 6.

With the NBA All-Star Game right around the corner, anticipation has built for the revealing of Nike’s annual collection set for the All-Star festivities. With this year’s game heading up to Toronto, Nike has gained inspiration from the city’s royal heritage. Each silhouette will feature special badges to commemorate its player’s career achievements along with special nods to Toronto culture, weather and much more.
Being a part of Kobe’s farewell tour, the Nike Kobe 11 is influenced in color by the bright Northern Lights, in addition to featuring molded leather along the heel for a twist to its original look. Moving on to the Nike Air Audacity, you’ll see Anthony Davis aka “The Brow” wear these on the hardwood in Toronto with special “Fear the Brow” labeling along its Air Unit. You’ll find an international influence within the KD 8 as a brand new graphic makes its way onto the Flyweave upper, along with removable patches and icy detailing within the sole for a nod to Toronto’s snowy winter weather. Moving on to the Nike Hyperlive silhouette, Indiana Pacers’ Paul George will sport these during the festivities. Possibly one of NBA’s best comeback stories, “PG13” will sport this low-cut model that hosts a bold Canadian red upper on top of a gum sole. Last, but not lease, LeBron James will sport his 13th signature model with Nike in a special grey-green upper. Similar to the sole of the KD 8, the All-Star LeBron 13 will sport icy detailing on its outsole in addition to another collection of removable patches.
The Nike Basketball Royalty Collection will officially release on February 11 at Nike.com and select Nike retailers along with additional pieces such as a backpack, hat, T-shirt, Hypermesh jacket and Hyperelite crew sock.
