Street Dreams Magazine has been making waves since debuting last year. The Vancouver, Canada and New York City-based photography publication is proudly built upon strong visuals, and has featured the work of artists like @visionelie, @takubeats, @novess, @alistair_wheeler, and more.

This week, Street Dreams co-founder, Social Director and Editor-at-Large Steven John Irby (a.k.a. Steve Sweatpants) debuted a new web series of photography classes titled Street Shots. In this premiere episode, Steve walks us through the busy Chinatown neighbourhood in his hometown of NYC, while demonstrating examples of scale, light, complementary colors, and composition. View the introduction to the video above, but you can continue watching the full 30-minute lecture by enrolling on Skillshare (it currently has over 650 students enrolled). Street Dreams celebrates the launch of its seventh issue (Issue .007) later this month in San Francisco.
