Nike pays homage to Kyrie’s practice spot of choice as a kid.
Having spent countless hours honing his skills on the driveway, darkness always seemed to sneak up on a young Kyrie Irving a bit too quickly as a kid, prompting his dad to park the car at the edge of the driveway and hit the brights as the sun went down. As a nod to that time spent practicing before coming in for dinner, Nike Basketball is dropping a “Driveway” edition of Kyrie’s very Swoosh-emblazoned signature. Sporting an official colorway of Black/Reflect Silver-Dark Grey-Green Glow, the design comes decked out in black with subtle hits of green around the collar as reflective 3M decorates the Swoosh. Expect the “Driveway” edition of the Kyrie 1 to hit Nike Basketball retailers like Rock City Kicks September 16 for $110 USD.
