Premier x New Balance M998 "PRMR"

Celebrating the heartland’s automotive heritage, here New Balance taps the expertise of Grand Rapids-based skate-street retailer Premier for a new collaboration on the classic M998 silhouette. The 998 “PRMR” is a tribute to early automobiles, and makes particular nod to Ford’s Model T – widely revered as the car that democratized car buying in the early 20th century. The sneaker’s upper is executed with a combination of black and gold suede, with the toe box executed in gold to represent the luxurious metal grill of the car. At the interior, a printed insole mimics popular quilted leather seating, while elsewhere the shoe is finished off by a dope black midsole and white outsole. A clever key-shaped hang tag details this release, which will be available in-store and online at Premier beginning August 22. A wider release to select retailers will hit the streets beginning on September 5.
