Nike Celebrates the Air Max 95's 20th Anniversary With Trading Card Vending Machine
Collectible trading cards with art by local Hong Kong artists are up for grabs.
Nike continues to celebrate its storied Air Max 95’s 20th birthday, and now the sportswear giant is bringing the celebration to Hong Kong in association with creative agency Ogilvy & Mather. Tapping into a nostalgic vein with this project, Ogilvy & Mather enlisted local Hong Kong artists to create limited edition “Air Max 95 Collectibles,” a series of trading cards dispensable through a vending machine at Nike locations. Each cards’ design incorporates key Hong Kong styles and ideas from the last two decades, while a highly limited holographic Nike iD card was in the mix which offered the lucky recipients a chance to obtain a low-production model of an Air Max 95 style or to fully customize one.
The vending machines will be at Nike’s Kickslounge in Tsim Sha Tsui and Causeway Bay until August 25.
