Kristen Stewart and Jesse Eisenberg Challenge Gender Perceptions in New Interview

The perception of gender and its ostensible differences are still a problem in our collective rhetoric. Often, especially in mass media, we skew questions toward women in a way that invades the privacy of their bodies and plays down their, well, personality. The star duo of American Ultra decided to address this in their latest promotional clip, which finds Kristen Stewart and Jesse Eisenberg interviewing each other. The interview is “typical” in that it features the stereotypical questions that reporters ask both genders, but Stewart aptly swaps the tone of the conversation by asking the questions she’s used to answering.
