The brand that made a name for itself for undeniably cool closet staples took an interesting turn for its NYFW:M debut, by displaying their spring/summer collection amidst a showing of parkour. The sport, known for its gravity-defying aerialists jumping on and off anything they can find is gutsy and adventurous, but serves as the perfect platform for the lightweight materials that designers Marcus Wainwright and David Neville wanted to emphasize. The designers took Rag & Bone on a decidedly sporty vein, pulling out all the stops with a variety of windbreakers complete with tabs, straps and flaps amidst T-shirts and technical back packs. But the pieces weren’t limited to the gravity-defying, although if you wanted to do parkour in them, it’s surely possible (the designers even tested them on parkourists). Tailored pants and tight silhouettes finished off the collection, so if you wanted to look more put together while jumping off walls — that’s an option too.
