Robert Geller was inspired by a day in paradise for his latest spring collection, marking a stark departure from the grit the brand became known for in previous seasons. This entire collection feels like a trip to the sea, heralding images from Geller’s childhood memories. Aiming to create a mix of sun and wind that he experienced while vacationing near the North Sea, Geller introduced a slew of beautiful prints and graphics, and notably a swirly pattern that was embroidered and repeated throughout. “The look of light reflecting off water” also played a role, resulting in gorgeously ethereal pieces highlighting the light and shadow that emerges from water. Textural patterns were present throughout, with expertly-executed, Asiatic pieces boasting intricate details that took us from piece to piece.
