Today, the official YouTube page of Top Dawg Entertainment has been terminated seemingly due to copyright infringement complaints.
“Top Dawg Entertainment has been terminated because we received multiple third-party claims of copyright infringement regarding material the user posted.”
This comes within days of Kendrick Lamar being accused by an Italian photographer of utilizing his unauthorized image for the “Blacker the Berry” cover art. The photographer, Giordano Ciprini is suing Kendrick, Top Dawg Entertainment, Interscope Records and Aftermath Records.
Although it isn’t confirmed that the lawsuit is responsible for the suspension of the entire YouTube account rather than just the correlating video, the page with nearly over half a million subscribers and just under 200 videos is unavailable until further notice.
