Looking back to 1915 in light of this summer’s Fashion Week in New York, lifestyle platform MODE has neatly compressed 100 years of fashion into a three-minute video. Beginning its sartorial recap from 1915 – at a time when the sack coat ruled and paperboy caps weren’t exclusive to café guitarists – MODE makes special motion to highlight the rise of denim as the definitive material of a generation before ending in the modern day.
