Issey Miyake has announced that starting from the next Paris Men’s Fashion Week, specifically the Fall/Winter 2025 season, the brand will be presenting the collection from IM MEN.

In a statement from Midori Kitamura, chairman of MIYAKE DESIGN STUDIO (MDS) and Hiroki Kaito, President & CEO of ISSEY MIYAKE INC., the brand introduces audiences to the three members of MDS, Sen Kawahara (design/engineering), Yuki Itakura (design/engineering) and Nobutaka Kobayashi (textile design/engineering). Having launched IM MEN in 2021 under Miyake’s direction, the line creates clothing that reflects on the practice of integrating design and engineering. The three aforementioned figures have come together to redefine clothing with the approach to both a garment’s form-making and construction.

Starting in January 2025, the brand will be put a pause on presenting the HOMME PLISSÉ ISSEY MIYAKE line. It has been presented in Paris from 2019 and for the past five years, the brand has seen major growth around the world. Going back to the drawing board, the Issey Miyake shares, “We have made new plans for the brand, as it moves forward and continues to evolve. We will share more information with you in the spring of next year.”

IM MEN’s first collection will be presented on January 23, 2025 during Paris Men’s Fashion Week.
