A Tribe Called Quest x Stussy Collection
Devoted to the art of moving butts.
Perennial streetwear imprint Stussy turns 35 this year, and after the announcement of its upcoming release of a 35th anniversary book for its Japanese chapters, the label uploaded a quick teaser onto its Instagram (found below) for a forthcoming anniversary project. Today the brand launches a new collaboration in partnership with A Tribe Called Quest that also celebrates Stussy’s 25th anniversary in New York. It was music like ATCQ’s that influenced Stussy’s early work during the late ’80s and early ’90s, and this collection pays tribute to the Queens-bred hip-hop collective in an array of hoodies, crewneck sweatshirts, T-shirts, and a handful of caps and bucket hats. The range of tees features various graphic prints of ATCQ’s records and videos.
The A Tribe Called Quest x Stussy collection will be available for purchase July 18 at all Stussy Chapter Stores in addition to the brand’s webstore. There will also be an in-store meet-and-greet and a signing of limited edition posters with ATCQ’s Q-Tip, Phife, Ali and Jarobi.
