Back in May, custom sneaker designer John Geiger unveiled his Nike Air Force 1 High “Misplaced Checks” sneaker with a limited public release produced by The Shoe Surgeon. The all-red custom sneaker is characterized by its 16 overlapping Swoosh logos made from different fine fabrics like pony hair, nubuck, crocodile leather, ostrich and perforated leather. Each pair is emblazoned with its own individual number in gold. A second, much larger release of the special model has just been announced and is set to drop sometime this week. While the details surrounding the limited run are still unknown, the first release saw the shoe sell out instantly, and at a price of $550 USD per pair. Keep an eye out for Geiger’s Twitter and Instagram for updates surrounding the shoe’s release.
