Motor City-based Distinct Life and Reebok have renewed their collaborative endeavors, kicking off a brand new “#DistinctViews” series of photography-inspired sneakers with a special mid-top take on the GL 6000. Designed by Distinct Life founder Rick Williams, the kicks take cues from a popular DSLR camera, employing a predominately black colorway along with red and white accents across a luxurious mixture of nubuck and ripstop. Furthering the photography-inspired motif is a collage of iconic Detroit architecture — hitting both the outsole and sock liner — shot by the city’s own Jeremy Deputat.

The DSLR-esque Distinct Life x Reebok GL 6000 Mid will be available online in limited quantities starting July 15. The pair will also be available at the following stockists: atmos, Solebox, Overkill, Asphalt Gold, Titolo, colette, 24 Kilates, Limited Editions, Footpatrol, Hanon, Sneakers N Stuff, size?, Undefeated Japan and mita sneakers.
