Watch a Stage Crasher Interrupt Kanye West's Performance at Glastonbury Festival
Even Kanye isn’t immune to disruptions.
Kanye West’s hotly-contested headlining gig at Glastonbury Festival wasn’t only met with much displeasure, but to top it all off, a streaker took the stage during West’s performance of “Black Skinhead.” This disturbance led to Kanye having to restart the song in what was a stellar performance for fans regardless. The gutsy stage crasher turned out to be comedian Simon Brodkin who’s known for his alter-ego, Lee Nelson. Taking the stage wearing a “LEE-ZUS” shirt, Brodkin was quickly dragged off. In a conversation with NME, Brodkin explained that his stunt was because “some people were saying Kanye shouldn’t headline Glastonbury, so I thought I’d give them a hand.”
