UNDERCOVER 2016 Spring/Summer Collection
UNDERCOVER brings back some of its best pieces from years gone by for its 25th anniversary, but with a new twist.
Japanese cult label UNDERCOVER has just released its 2016 spring/summer collection titled “THE GREATEST” at Paris Fashion Week. This year represents the brand’s 25th anniversary so it selected symbolic seasons from both the past and present, reconstructing and merging them together to create what we see here. As always, there seems to be an underlying rockstar/punk aesthetic, which is then twisted with the play on silhouettes. Some of the most popular collections in years gone by will be sure to please a number of fans such as the Star Wars motifs in the 2000 fall/winter “AMBIVALENCE” collection.
