Nike has a way of unveiling rare releases in clever ways. For the Air Carnivore, which was last seen on our pages back in 2010, the Swoosh took to London Collections Men to embed the sneaker’s comeback within Cottweiller’s Spring/Summer 2016 show. The brand itself, led by English designers Ben Cottrell and Matthew Dainty, is especially concerned with sustainability within cutting-edge sportswear – a mission that fits in with Nike’s current M.O. The Air Carnivore silhouette has been a drifter within Nike’s line since the cross-trainer boom of the early 1990s, and fits in perfectly with contemporary aesthetics. While not much more is known about the official public release, we see that Nike has streamlined the silhouette’s paneling for the modern age. Stay tuned for more details on the return of the Air Carnivore.
