Marvel Has Found Its New Silver Screen Spider-Man
Third time’s the charm?

With the Spider-Man franchise joining forces with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, rumors were abound about whether our generation’s second (the first being Tobey Maguire) silver screen Spider-Man, Andrew Garfield, would be keeping his job as Peter Parker. And it has been revealed that he won’t be as Marvel has announced a new actor to fill the coveted role. In the upcoming Marvel movies, 19-year-old English actor Tom Holland will be playing our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, joining the ranks of Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans and company. We will see how Holland fills these shoes in the upcoming Spider-Man installment hitting theaters 2017, but firstly we’ll see him flexing his Spidey Senses in Captain America: Civil War next year alongside the other Marvel superheroes. But Holland isn’t the only “new” Spider-Man in recent days, as Marvel has also announced that Miles Morales will be taking on the role in the comic book-path of the franchise.
