Facebook Borrows From Snapchat With Its New Photo Features
New filters, stickers and text are coming to Facebook photos.

Snapchat has become a staple app for many, especially teens. Its ingenious, fast-paced and easily customizable photo options have made it a must-have, and Facebook is looking to become cool again with new photo filters, stickers and text options. Since Facebook’s planned acquisition of Snapchat fell through and the latter company grew exponentially, Facebook tried its hand at apps such as Poke and Slingshot to compete, with neither making much headway. Meanwhile, Japanese messaging app Line has become popular for its range of stickers. Therefore, Facebook is incorporating everything these apps have to offer to try and get a foot up in the competition. As reported by TechCrunch, Facebook will be piloting this new photo uploader that will enable users to customize as they wish. Such functions include text, swipeable filters and resizeable emoji. However there is no news yet how many users will be getting it or how it will be rolled now. What do you think of these new features? Head over to TechCrunch to see the options in action.
