Luke Meier draws inspiration from the Masai people of Tanzania in his latest seasonal offering.
As Style.com points out, Luke Meier — the creative director and co-founder of OAMC — traveled to Tanzania three-years-ago, and while at the moment it was for leisure, his time there has now manifested in his latest seasonal offering. From safari-styled jackets and zebra prints to olive-colored shirtings and a similar blue-and-red plaid worn by the Masai (a group of people that in inhabit Northern Tanzania), the entire collection finds a tasteful balance of beautiful African life and craftsmanship with traditional menswear staples. Additional details include beaded necklaces worn cross-body, relaxed-fit trousers with brushstrokes that resemble body paint, and a rhino T-shirt that was created for the Save the Rhino Foundation.
