Prints have a lengthy heritage within the British fashion canon, and brands such as Agi & Sam, Casely-Hayford and Christopher Kane have done well to elongate that legacy. Christopher Kane himself admits that many of his past collections thus far have been led by drawing, with the designer and his team eloquently expressing bold new patterns throughout the seasons. For Spring/Summer 2016 however, the label zeroes in on a material focus for the season. Here we find Kane championing various techniques across a range of uniquely masculine silhouettes, accenting materials such as jersey and traditional tweed with bolster knits, embroidery and jacquard knitting styles to offer a wonderfully whole collection.
