ASICS GEL-Lyte EVO
ASICS celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Shigeyuki Mitsui-designed GEL-Lyte III by giving the silhouette a contemporary makeover.
Like the GEL-Kayano Trainer before it, the GEL-Lyte III is getting the contemporary EVO treatment from ASICS with the introduction of its brand new GEL-Lyte EVO. Seen here in a combination of black and red and due out this fall in a bevy of additional colorways, the new silhouette updates the 1990 Shigeyuki Mitsui-designed classic with a samurai armor-inspired upper of TPU and bonded mesh, pairing the construction with visible GEL technology and four-part tooling. An apt 25th anniversary celebration of the original design, ASICS’ brand new GEL-Lyte EVO will be available at ASICS Tiger retailers globally beginning this July.
