'Gears of War 4' E3 Gameplay Preview
The Coalition teases the next installment in the ‘Gears of War’ franchise.
Developer The Coalition took to E3 today to offer up the first look at the latest installment of Gears of War. The first addition to the franchise since 2013’s Gears of War: Judgment, Gears of War 4 marks the first entry in the series from The Coalition (formerly Black Tusk) and looks to once again feature the over-the-shoulder third-person perspective, chainsaw-equipped lancers and curb stomps that fans of the games know and love. Though little has been revealed about the storyline, the nearly seven-minute-long trailer does well to highlight what can be expected of the gameplay as the early build depicted two characters working in tandem to explore a deserted mansion teeming with gruesome baddies.
Gears of War 4 will be available exclusively for Xbox One in time for 2016’s holiday season.
