Foot Locker and PENSOLE Are Searching for the Next Big Footwear Designer

Foot Locker has partnered up with renowned footwear design academy PENSOLE on an intensive footwear design class this summer. “Fueling The Future of Footwear” will take place at PENSOLE’s campus in Portland, Oregon between July 13-31. The three week intensive course is aimed at discovering the next big designers who will develop the future of footwear. Limited to 18 spaces, the lucky students will be able to immerse themselves in a “learn by doing” curriculum that encompasses the entire footwear design process, from product creation, designing, materials and marketing. Teams of students will be given the chance to design a new collection for ASICS. The chosen design will be sold at Foot Locker locations nationwide, with a prize of $12,000 USD for the winning team.
