Golden - Mornin' Momma

Mike Golden, frontman of Chicago-based band Mike Golden & Friends, delivers the first taste of his forthcoming solo project today just in time for Mother’s Day. Entitled “Mornin’ Momma,” the track brings together a series of well-wishes directed towards his family members and slights aimed towards his ex with infectious production. With his last name as his new solo moniker, Golden has spent the last few months in the studio taking a new approach to his music alongside members of Chicago’s blossoming hip-hop community; a scene he’s been long acquainted with having collaborated with the likes of Vic Mensa, Donnie Trumpet and Rockie Fresh over the years.
