Nike Basketball’s Elite Series this year has offered athletes and sneakerheads a chance to adopt their favorite players’ performance specifications as their own. As an added bonus though, Nike is set to offer its highest-performing silhouettes as a public canvas through NIKEiD. The brand is set to start with the LeBron 12 Elite, which will arrive on Nike’s customization platform beginning April 17 – coinciding with the official Elite Series drop. The gilded version of the sneaker is but an example of the possibilities, yet the $320 USD price tag is, in contrast, less flexible.
