Crystal Castles Re-emerge with New Song "Frail"

Last October, Alice Glass announced her departure from the act she was associated with the most, Crystal Castles. Now, after years of silence when it comes to new music, Crystal Castles’ Ethan Kath has shared a new Crystal Castles song entitled “Frail.” The track features a vocalist Ethan Kath says is a woman named Edith, though not much else has surfaced regarding the singer. Ethan Kath also posted a note on SoundCloud to go along with the release, stating that he wishes former bandmate Alice Glass ”the best of luck in her future endeavor,” while remarking that he believes “it can be empowering for her to be in charge of her own project.” No word yet on any official resurgence from the act, but as Pitchfork notes, the electronic act’s manager alluded to Crystal Castles not fully dissolving after Alice Glass’ exit.
