A month after sharing “Toronto,” Christian Rich have released another new song entitled “High.” The brother-duo enlist Vince Staples and Bia, one of Pharrell’s latest discoveries, for the song, making this their first big collaboration since their SS14 EP hit the internet last summer. Christian Rich and Vince Staples are no strangers to each other, having also worked together for the making of Earl Sweatshirt’s Doris. This latest salvo from the pair is less rooted in the street-seasoned rap typically associated with Vince Staples, and finds Christian Rich dabbling in the high-octane, maximalist sounds that dominate the heavier, harder sides of the modern EDM ecosystem. In a statement released via press release, Christian Rich had the following to say regarding today’s drop:

“Ever since we came together on Earl Sweatshirt’s album Doris, we’ve been close with Vince. So we made this to expand on new sounds and ideas with him. It felt right to bring in Bia who is now apart of Pharrell, who is family to us.”

You can check out “High” above.
