Koenigsegg Unveils the 1,500+ Horsepower Regera Hybrid Hypercar
Swedish hypercar manufacturer Koenigsegg unveils another addition to its range of high-performance

Swedish hypercar manufacturer Koenigsegg unveils another addition to its range of high-performance cars at the Geneva Motor Show. Unlike its other models, the Regera is the company’s first hybrid hypercar which features the same 5.0-litre twin-turbo V8 as the Agera but with smaller turbos that generate 1,100 hp, while an additional set of three electric motors sourced from YASA Motors pump out another 700 hp. According to Koenigsegg the combined efforts of the plug-in hybrid powertrain makes it the “fastest accelerating, most powerful production car ever.” Though the price and complete performance figures have yet to be announced, we know that the Regera boasts over 1500 hp and will hit the 400 km/h mark in under 20 seconds, while the acceleration from 150-250 km/h takes a mere 3.2 seconds. Furthermore, only 80 of them will be produced so you might never see one unless your purchase one for yourself.
